About The Area
The village of Oxe is one of the most beautiful and green villages on the island and the highest. At an altitude of almost 600m, the village is always cooler by 5-6 Celsius than the coast. You never need AC in the summer and there is always a great breeze and the air is fresh and crisp! There are beautiful areas, churches, a monastery and other interesting sites in the village that can be easily visited on foot via the village footpaths.

Getting Around
The Village of Oxe is located 7 km from the capital and port of Agios Kirikos. It takes less than 15 minutes to drive there on the main paved island road. The nearest beach, Nealia, is also 7 km away and takes less than 15 minutes to drive to. The airport and Faros is a 20 minute drive. Armenistis is an hour drive and Evdilos is 45 minutes drive from the house.
